Cosatto donate nursery equipment to every UK Children's Hospice.
As part of our on-going support to the Association of Child's Hospices we are furnishing each Hospice with Cosatto Nursery Sets including Cots, Highchairs, Pushchairs and Nursery Equipment.
There are 41 Children's Hospices in the UK and by this summer all will have a Cosatto Nursery.
Children's hospice services exist to help children who are not expected to reach adulthood - and their families - with the emotional and physical challenges they face, and make the most of life.
The Hospices welcome the whole family for a break together or time to themselves in a home-from-home environment - or offer care in the family's own home. They provide a diverse range of services including children's palliative care, specialist respite care, terminal and emergency care, 24 hour telephone support, practical help, advice and information and bereavement support for all family members. Children's hospice care is child and family centered, and always tailored to meet individual needs and wishes.
The family accommodation available at the hospice enables families to stay with their child and have a break from the difficulties of their everyday life. This respite gives the opportunity to spend quality time as a family. The Cosatto Nursery sets and equipment are intended to provide families with the equipment they might need to look after siblings during their stay.
