4 Ways to Beat the January Blues
Jan can be glum, post Christmas and particularly hard on parents… here’s 4 ways to beat the January blues and get that spring back in your step.
Get some fresh air
Getting your walk on with your pram is a great way to beat the January blues. Not only will it release happy endorphin’s but is also great bonding time for you and your little one.
Eat your greens
After all the Christmas stodge adding more fruit and veg into your diet throughout Jan really will give you a little pick-me-up. Vitamin C found in oranges and kiwifruits are also great for fighting off those nasty winter colds.
There’s no better feeling than picking up the glue stick and creating something with your mini human. If you’re not the crafty type, why not try some homemade post-Christmas thank you cards. It will keep your little tot entertained and give you the feel-good factor.
Cuddles, cuddles and more cuddles
When your feeling a little low there’s nothing better than a cuddle with your little one. So grab the duvet, put a funny film on and enjoy a little cuddle… trust us that will be ‘like sooooo uncool’ once they hit high school age.
