Well hello all you crafty Mums and Mums to be, welcome to the first of many ‘Cosatto Crafty Creation’ posts.
This is something new for us and we can’t wait to get started. We’ve got oodles of crafty creations for all levels of crafters and seeing as this is our first and Christmas is only 10 days away; we thought it was perfect to create something for all those new babies out there about to experience their first Christmas.
This is one ‘Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy’ level of a crafty creation, quick enough to fit into your littl’uns nap time. So grab a warm drink and get your craft on.
All you need is:
A Colour Printer
Good quality white card (suitable for your printer)
Scissors or a craft knife
Coloured thread, embroidery yarn or thin ribbon
Now let’s begin:
We have 4 gorgeous little printables for you and did we mention they are all free.
These cute little tree angels come in 4 options.
1. Bizzy Betty Plain Tree Angel
BIZZY BETTY DOLLY PRINTABLE – side 1
BIZZY BETTY DOLLY PRINTABLE – side 2
2. Bizzy Betty – Baby’s First Christmas Tree Angel
BIZZY BETTY DOLLY PRINTABLE – BABYS FIRST CHRISTMAS – side 1
BIZZY BETTY DOLLY PRINTABLE – BABYS FIRST CHRISTMAS – side 2
3. All Star – Plain Tree Angel
ALL STAR BOYS DOLLY PRINTABLE – side 1
ALL STAR BOYS DOLLY PRINTABLE – side 2
4. All Star – Baby’s first Christmas Tree Angel
ALL STAR BOYS DOLLY PRINTABLE – BABYS FIRST CHRISTMAS – side 1
ALL STAR BOYS DOLLY PRINTABLE – BABY’S FIRST CHRISTMAS – side 2
They are printed on both sides, so please download side 1 and side 2 of the Tree Angel you want to make. Make them all you know you want to.
Simply download your chosen Angel side 1 and insert your card into the tray feed, now click print. Once this has popped out printed, place the freshly printed card back onto the tray feeder (plain side up). Now print the side 2 download. This adds a gorgeous all over pattern to the back of your creation and gives the wings their detail.
Now grab your scissors/craft knife and start cutting around the whole of the angels. Don’t worry if you slip, we’ve set the printable up to have two per page; so there’s always a spare (or an extra one for the Grandparents).
Once you have cut them out completely, simply cut along the two black lines to create the fixing slots.
Gently bend the wing ends around and slot together. There! How easy was that?
Thread your needle with your chosen thread. Carefully, thread through the two marked circles on the wings. Cut the thread off to the desired length and knot the two ends together – et voila you have a very cute and very stylish Tree Angel.
Can’t wait to see your crafty creations. Stay tuned for more wowee stuff. We’ll be posting more projects regularly so watch this space.
