Keeps your baby calm and focused
Give your baby a focus for visual exploration to help them develop their sensory skills. An engaged baby is a happy baby.
Sensory Hoods Designed to Engage.
At a time when the brain is like a sponge, absorbing and making connections at an incredible rate, visual stimulation can optimise that development. Our carefully designed visuals are developed to capture the baby’s gaze and harness their early sensory skills- this attention to detail leading to an attentive, more content baby.
3 Benefits of Cosatto Sensory Hoods
Helps their early cognitive development
The different shapes and patterns in our sensory hoods are designed to strengthen new neural pathways and boost their brain development.
Brings you peace of mind
A baby cooing happily in their travel system can give you a hands-free moment. Even just sitting quietly nearby, you can be happy in the knowledge they’re growing and learning.
Experts in Baby-Led design
Our Creative Lab is your baby’s dream-factory. The birth of a Cosatto pattern is a creative explosion. From global catwalks to future trends to studying babies’ pattern preferences, our designers’ radar is always on. Serious about happy babies, the Cosatto Creative Lab runs on curiosity, creativity, countless brews and baby smiles.
Driving a Revolution
Amid a sea of dull prams and pushchairs on the market, parents began to feed back to us how much their babies loved our patterned prams… and so the revolution began. “Having a baby is one of the happiest times of your life. We’ve always believed baby equipment should reflect this joy.” Stephen Shaw – Associate Creative Director.
Research and Results
We joined forces with the Baby Lab at the University of Sussex, undertaking an extensive research programme. This included the use of eye tracking while babies viewed our patterns, in order to understand which elements held their attention most. Over the years, we have applied this knowledge to our design process, using a scientific approach to all our pattern designs.
Unique Sensory Hoods
No other pram and pushchair brand applies science to the pattern design process. Our unique sensory hoods are crafted to capture your baby’s attention. It's a myth that babies can only see in black and white. They see in red and green first, then blue and yellow. It's an exciting process.
